Battlestar Galactica: Season 2.2 The second half of season 2 of Battlestar Galactica comes out on September 19. This box set will have many great episodes. It has the conclusion of the mid series cliff hanger (between Galactica and Pegasus). We will learn about the existence of the Resurrection Ship and also get a deeper look into the darker side of humanity with the introduction of the black market episode and episode with Cloud 9 being held captive. This half of the season we also see one of the main characters die. Most importantly, we learn about the birth of the Cylon/Human hybrid baby and end on a season cliffhanger with future of humanity looking very bleak. With season 3 starting in October, this is a great box set to get you caught back up or refreshed for the series.

Bored and Evil I recently finished reading through the Bored and Evil archives. It is a comic about Joe, a nerd that sells his soul for lower rent. As a result of the transaction, he must live with a group of monsters. His roommates include a hockey mask wearing murder, named Jack, a fish monster, named Goonie, a werewolf named Goad, and a tentacle monster named Edelbrock. It's very funny to watch the realistic (yet exaggerated) interactions between the non realist characters. I really like the detail that is put into the backgrounds. Even though the backgrounds are reused, I catch something new on almost every comic.

July 26, 2006 Here's a quick recap on what has happened in the comic so far, just for those who may not know or remember what's going on: Sara, Ryan's girlfriend, doesn't like Josh, John, and Jeff. She gave them a teddy bear as a "I don't hate you gift," but the bear is actually a robot programmed to destroy Josh and his friends. Jeff is building a lemonade stand as a means of financial independence, but the bear blew it up in hopes of destroying everyone with it. Josh's sister Angel still needs money. And there you have it! You are now up to date with the comic!
